INGENCO-owned generating facilities sell power directly and through its energy marketing partners. INGENCO also sells turnkey DG peaking power systems for industrial customers, municipal power companies and regional electric cooperatives. INGENCO generation systems are based on mass produced, high efficiency, compression ignition engines. INGENCO delivers reliable, high quality, low-cost power to the rapidly growing Distributed Generation market. Since 1989, the company and its affiliates have built 15 facilities totaling 139 Megawatts capacity. Of this capacity, 110 MW are at landfill sites. Additional facilities are in different phases of development which will add another 36 MW equivalent to our company-owned portfolio. Corporate headquarters are in Richmond, Virginia, USA, along with the engineering, manufacturing, sales, construction management and the dispatch center.
