Six-Pack
Distributed Generation Power System

INGENCO can supply highly redundant, high quality, low-cost power. For more than 18 years, INGENCO has specialized in the design and construction of profitable Distributed Generation facilities. We design, build, install and operate (if desired) these small-scale multi-fueled power plants.
We can turnkey an entire power plant either at a substation or install a plant at or near large customer sites. INGENCO engineers know how to get a DG facility up and running right the first time.
Facility Size and Power Module
Our power generating facilities range from 2 MW to 24 MW in size. We build our plants with a modular approach, which allows us to easily scale a plant to any size. We call our power module a Six-Pack, which is an integrated six engine system producing 2mW net. We employ multiple Six-Packs to reach higher power outputs.

Our Engines

INGENCO uses standard over-the-road, high-efficiency, low-cost industrial engines and other mass produced components. We run them in parallel to produce highly available, redundant power. The engines can be taken off-line and rebuilt in-place while only losing a fraction of the total plant rating.
Fueling Options
Our engines typically burn fuel oil but also can use biodiesel or low-cost recycled liquid fuels. We can even dual fuel these engines with methane or natural gas to lower cost or use available "Green" energy sources from landfills, process or other biogas. Dual fueling also increases power availability. The gas supply can fail and the fuel oil continues to run the engines. We provide all of this with high efficiency and low emissions.
