Charles Packard – President and Chief Executive Officer

Bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the Cogeneration, HVAC, and Nuclear industries, Chuck Packard has served as President and CEO of INGENCO and its affiliates for over 20 years, with corporate focus on cogeneration and independent power production. Chuck graduated from Ohio University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and earned an MS in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University.

Thomas Kennedy – Chief Operating Officer

Tom Kennedy is responsible for the design and implementation of the company’s manufacturing systems from inception through installation. He has an in-depth understanding of machine design and process development and is skilled in the use of statistical methods, experiment design, failure mode analysis and computer process modeling. Tom holds a BS degree in Engineering from Case Institute of Technology and an MBA from the College of William and Mary.

Richard Putney – Chief Financial Officer

Rich Putney is responsible for a number of corporate functional areas including accounting, financial reporting, treasury, insurance, and human resources. He is a licensed CPA with over 25 years of business experience having served as a CFO of several private equity funded ventures and as Corporate Financial Manager at Dell Computers. Rich graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in Accounting.

David Palumbo – Senior Vice President of Development

Dave Palumbo is responsible for corporate strategic development and expansion into the full U.S. marketplace. Dave has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry with a unique blend of experience in opportunity fuels, including indigenous low-btu gas, landfill gas, biomass and petroleum coke. Dave holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado and has completed the Leadership Development program from Cornell University.

Alan Petersen – Vice President of Development

Alan Petersen is responsible for directing the development of all new INGENCO business. His background includes a diverse career in the natural gas industry with deep experience in the technical and regulatory issues involved in achieving effective business solutions in this complex arena. Alan has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Richmond.

Thomas Hecmanczuk – Director of Construction

Tom Hecmanczuk is responsible for directing the management of the capital plan, the construction, installation, and start-up of the new generating plants and significant capital repairs and improvements to existing plants. Tom has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University, and is an honorably-discharged US Navy veteran.

Gwen Partenheimer – Director of Human Resources

Gwen Partenheimer is responsible for our Human Resources functions company-wide. She earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2001 and has extensive experience with multi-site, corporate and culturally diverse environments. Prior to joining INGENCO, Gwen was the Human Resources Manager for Media General, supporting television stations and newspaper publications. She attended American University in Washington, DC.

Raymond Yerly – Treasurer

Ray Yerly is responsible for INGENCO’s treasury, banking relations, risk management, and contract administration. Prior to coming to INGENCO, Mr. Yerly spent 12 years with Dominion Capital, managing the strategic planning, member of the merger/acquisition and integration activities team, and was also responsible for the financial interests of the power generation investments of the company. Mr. Yerly received his BBA and MBA from the College of William and Mary.

Michael Ellison – Internal Consultant

Mike Ellison is an internal consultant who has held various key management positions within the company, including CFO, CIO, and COO, over the 14 years he has been with the company. Mike has been responsible for INGENCO’s financial planning and information technology and has over 20 years of experience in business and considerable knowledge about the financial aspects of electricity and gas markets. Mike holds a BS degree in Finance and an MBA from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, as well as a post-baccalaureate degree in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
