The Henrico plant, commissioned in 2010, is the newest INGENCO facility on the East Coast. The 4 MW plant located at the Springfield Road Landfill is INGENCO’s seventeenth facility.

INGENCO’s second Pennsylvania plant is located in Pine Grove. The 6 MW plant was the final commission of 2008, bringing the total number of INGENCO plants to 16. Its host landfill produces an annual landfill gas equivalent to 1 million gallons of fuel oil.

King & Queen

King & Queen

Commissioned in 2008, INGENCO’s fifteenth plant, King & Queen, has a generation capacity of 10 MW. King & Queen is currently being expanded and will have a generation capacity of 14 MW upon completion.

Bristol

Bristol

The Bristol landfill annually produces landfill gas equivalent in energy content to one million gallons of fuel oil. Our INGENCO facility, commissioned in 2015, can produce 6 MW.

Brunswick

Brunswick

Brunswick, commissioned in 2008, is INGENCO’s fourteenth landfill gas-to-energy facility. The plant’s generation capacity is 11 MW and it is situated at a landfill that annually produces landfill gas equivalent to 4 million gallons of fuel oil.

New Bern

New Bern

The New Bern facility is INGENCO’s thirteenth plant and was commissioned in 2008. New Bern has a generation capacity of 6 MW and is the first INGENCO plant located in North Carolina.

Wicomico

Wicomico

Wicomico County, Maryland, is home to INGENCO’s twelfth plant. The landfill-gas-to-energy facility’s generation capacity is 6 MW and its host landfill annually produces landfill gas equivalent to 1 million gallons of fuel oil.

Mountain View

The first of INGENCO’s two Pennsylvania plants, the 16 MW Mountain View plant commissioned in 2001 is ¬†INGENCO’s eleventh plant. Its host landfill annually produces landfill gas equivalent to 5 million gallons of fuel oil.

Commissioned in 2000, Charles City, INGENCO’s tenth plant, has a generation capacity of 16 MW. Its landfill location annually produces landfill gas equivalent to 3 million gallons of fuel oil.

Chesterfield

Chesterfield

The Chesterfield plant began operation in 2003 and has a generation capacity of 16 MW. Its landfill, The Shoosmith Sanitary Landfill, annually produces landfill gas equivalent in energy content to 6 million gallons of fuel oil.

Amelia

Amelia

The 16 MW Amelia plant is INGENCO’s seventh power plant. The host landfill annually produces landfill gas equivalent in energy content to that of 3 million gallons of fuel oil.

Virginia Beach

The Virginia Beach plant, commissioned in 2001, was the first plant to burn landfill-produced methane. Its landfill gas output levels made it ideal to test the process on our newly developed 36-engine
“six-pack” concept.

Rockville

Rockville

Commissioned in 1991 and 1994, INGENCO’s fourth and fifth plants are located in Rockville. The expansion of the “four-pack” design in 1994 brought the plants’ combined capacity up to 16 MW.

Dinwiddie

Dinwiddie

Dinwiddie is home to INGENCO’s third plant. Built with room for ten engines, it was designed specifically to enable thorough testing of a variety of engines and was expanded in 1994 to a capacity of 10 MW.

Wake

The Wake facility, in operation since 2012, can produce 8 MW. The host landfill annually produces landfill gas equivalent in energy content to two million gallons of fuel oil.

Dabney

INGENCO’s corporate headquarters is located in Richmond, Virginia. This facility houses the engine rebuild, fabrication, manufacturing, research and development, executive, and administrative teams.
