Initial testing of proprietary technology a success

After over two years of development effort INGENCO today conducted the first demonstration test of its proprietary dual fuel engine control technology at its Mountain View landfill gas-to-electricity project.
This controller reduces the amount of NOx emissions produced by INGENCO’s engines by over 80%. In addition, the amount of pilot fuel required has been decreased by a factor of four.
INGENCO’s compression ignition dual fuelled engine technology provides one of the most cost effective methods of turning wasted landfill gas energy into high value electricity. The technology is modular, requires minimum construction time, and is fully scalable to accommodate various sized landfill gas resources.
INGENCO plans to continue to further develop this technology for landfill gas and other distributed generation markets.
