King & Queen Plant a Stop on the Virginia Economic Development
Partnership's Fall 2008 Virginia Energy Media Tour

KING & QUEEN COUNTY, Virginia - INGENCO's 12 MW generating plant located at Allied
Waste's King & Queen County landfill was a stop on the Virginia Economic Development
Partnership's (VEDP) Fall 2008 Virginia Energy Media Tour. Journalists, VEDP staff and
Virginia's senior advisor for energy policy and chair of Governor Tim Kaine's Energy Policy
Advisory Council were in attendance.
The four day statewide tour, which included visits to Virginia's Bio
Diesel Refinery in West Point, Dominion Power's North Anna Power Station in Mineral and a
presentation by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University on "The Future of
Energy in Virginia" at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center, showcased the
Commonwealth's energy assets as well as VEDP's corporate partners.
